Arden Shoot 3
'Back In The Band'
This page contains images and the final product for my second Arden shoot in week 3. This short is called 'Back In The Band', I was an spark, second to the Gaffer in the lighting department. I had a pleasant experience on set creating the aesthetic of the 'apartment' we were shooting in through lighting.
Lighting Plan
I sketched out a lighting plan for our shoot in my notes as it was quite a complicated set up.
Lighting Set Up
This image shows our set up of our key light bouncing off of a polyboard filling the set. You can also see the flag used to block off oncoming light into video village.
Polyboard & Key Light
In this image you can see the polyboard we used to bounce our key light off to fill the set.
Fill Light, CTO Gel, Diffusion Sheet
This picture captures another light in our set up. This light acted as our natural light for daylight shining through the window. That is why we have added a colour temperature orange gel and a diffusion sheet over the window to soften the light.

This image shows the sets lighting coming to life whilst filming. You can also see the lamp we used and the set up behind the set walls
Final Product
This is the final video once it's been edited and shows off the lighting and aesthetic that we created. I am overall very happy with how the lighting looked on screen and given feedback from the Director, so were they.
